I got a new furnace replaced at my home by Residential Heating and Air Conditioning, and the process was great, smooth, in reasonable time with a reasonable price with both the sale person Dave, and the installer Brett and Charlie. I would definitely do business with them again.

My furnace started acting up so I called one of the big HVAC contractor in the area to have a look, and I was recommended a total cost over $4500 to fix multiple different things that the tech suspected may be the problem of my 16 Rheem furnace. I then decided to look into getting it replaced and was getting different quotes from different HVAC contractor.
This is when I found Residential Heating and Air Conditioning. They sent Dave over to have a look at the system to provide a quote for a new furnace the same day I requested for it. It was great working with Dave, no pushy sell at all and no rush on decision and also no "you have to answer in 1-2 days to receive this specific discount" tactic. I appreciate that he allows me to have time to think about my option before making a decision, with all the initial discount offer intact. We were able on agree on the price. He also offered if I want my furnace to have a second opinion from the HVAC tech before deciding whether I would want to fix it or get it replace, and if I decided to get it replace, he can help me get the diagnose fee deducted from the total cost of installation. He was also respectful about the first initial payment over the phone and offer to stop by to get the payment, if I do not feel comfortable giving my card number over the phone.
On the day of the installation, Brett and Charlie showed up on time and started with the installation pretty quickly. They were very polite and Brett explained to me what their plan is and how long it would take to get the furnace replaced in the beginning. The work was done in reasonable time and looks great, and at the end Brett explained to me all the things that was done and answered all the questions that I have. They also keep the work area fairly clean afterward. Overall, the installation was smooth and in reasonable time.
They also handle the rebate for the furnace from their office so customer do not have to fill it out themselves. I will update my review with more details once that that is done.

We used Residential for our heat pump installing a few years back and have been thrilled with the outcome. Just recently we joined their annual maintenance plan for a different property and have had a great experience as well. Luke came out to tune up our furnaces recently and did a great job replacing gas valves as well as a valve on our humidifier. He was very nice and answered all questions and everything is running great. Highly recommend this company.

Thomas came in to perform annual furnace tune-up. Was very thorough with explanations of tune-up process and an issue (failing fan motor capacitor) that needed to be replaced. Thomas also had additional recommendations for pre-emptive repairs. Given age of furnace (17 years) and AC compressor (23 years old) we had good discussions regarding all options, eg possible spring time system replacement and as such, not putting a lot of money into current system. At no time did I feel Thomas was pressuring me to make decisions that did not make sense to me.
All in all, a very positive experience.
Our apartment's furnace unexpectedly had to be shut off after a routine inspection on a Friday afternoon revealed it had to be completely replaced.
Bret & Charlie from Residential were not only able to come out to replace it with a brand new model first thing the following morning, but they also explained their process when they got to our place, were extremely polite throughout, and left us with a working furnace after only a few hours of work.

Thomas from Residential heating came out to do a furnace tune up. Everything turned out just fine. He did let me know of some other potential issues and I thought right away that oh here we go, but instead Thomas walked me through exactly what he was talking about and the issues that would probably come in the future. He gave several options and did so with a non sales pitch. He really was looking out for me in the near future. We did go with a few of the options that he talked about but not all of them and he was great. Got all the things done the same day. Really appreciated him looking out for us.
