Dane was very through in explanation k everything and what furnace would be sufficient for us. He also got it for installation the next morning, which is good as our old furnace went out just before the artic air was set to come in.
As both a home owner and a Real Estate Advisor I have have dozens of experiences with Residential Heating and Cooling. Their customer service is unmatched! The only time I had a less than stellar experience with a employee who showed up to service our furnace and refused to do the work (he also quit the next day apparently), they were quick to get me back on the schedule with a discount for my inconvenience. The have also had very fair pricing compared to other options! I will continue to use and recommend them!
On a Thursday morning @3am my 19 year old furnace finally broke down. My furnace was "red tagged". I had assumed i would not have heat until the next week at best.
I wanted to support the local businesses and called Residential. I talked with Renee at the end of the day and she was super helpful and went above and beyond to line me up for an install the next day (8am on friday). The next day bright and early they showed up to look at the install. Within short while the installers arrived. Everything went great and the entire team was great.
This entire situation went very well and would recommend them for sure. 5 out of 5

Dane from Residential Heating and Air Conditioning is an excellent service technician. This was our first time using this HVAC company. I'll start with a thank you to Residential for sending Dane our way. He was courteous and very patient. Overall, the quality of the service call was reflected in Dane's on-time arrival and in his ability to communicate and advocate on our behalf (read on). I ask a lot of questions. He answered every one. We have been in our house for one year. New to the Twin Cities, we asked around and chose Residential for a winter furnace inspection (furnace was newly installed in 2021 by a different company) Dane was concerned that a part under warranty was running way too hot. He immediately called the office for approval to order a replacement part from the manufacturer (affirmative). At the end of visit, Dane asked if we had any other questions related to our HVAC system. Without question, I'll use Residential Heating again.
I've worked with Residential Heating and Air for over 20 years. They're excellent to work with, they respond immediately and have given me the best price and service.
I recently had a furnace red tagged, Chris from Residential Heating and Air confirmed that I needed a replacement. They were able to replace it in less than a day and beat the price of their competitor.
Dane was professional, on time and gave me lots of great information about my new system! This is the second house we have installed heating and a/c units in with this company. Highly recommend them!
