As part of our annual maintenance plan we called for a spring AC checkup. Jeremiah came out and opened with a review of his inspection process. Jeremiah was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional in his approach. A dramatic change from previous inspections - this time it was far more complete and detailed. Since our AC system is 32 years old (still working well but certainly nearing the end of its lifespan) he found a number of issues with corrosion (supply ductwork, heat absorption coil, & linesets) and dust buildup on heating fins. AC performance tests and measurements were within acceptable ranges. The inspection also noted optional improvements that could be added - electrostatic filtration and allergen & bacterial UV sanitizer. I appreciated Jeremiah's review of solutions and options with no high pressure. Details and pricing were clearly presented for us to look at and consider down the road. I will be asking for Jeremiah in the fall to do the furnace inspection (furnace is only 13 yrs old)

Update June 11, 2025: Luke Hanson stopped by today to service our mini split AC units. He did an excellent job. He took the covers off the interior head units and cleaned out the filters. He also took the top off of the exterior fan unit, saw a bunch of Cottonwood pollen, and hosed off the unit to keep it clean and running efficiently. He showed me before and after pictures. Luke said all standard annual check ups should include this, but I know not every tech does this. Luke did and it was greatly appreciated. We have the annual maintenance plan with Residential, and this service did not include any upcharge or additional fee. Was a great experience.

Residential came out to service my boiler in November 2024. Kody Lamb, the boiler technician, proactively changed the Flame Sensor component, after we couldn't get it cleaned thoroughly due to buildup. This gave us piece of mind that the system wouldn't shut down unexpectedly in winter due to an erroneous flame sensor reading. He also changed out the relief valve, which appeared to be leaking due to a prior release, in the past. We're interested in keeping our boiler going as long as possible, and these steps hopefully helped.
