This is the best HVAC company in the twin cities. I have used Residential for a new super high efficiency heater for my business - PERFECT. And then for an equally high efficiency AC for my business - PERFECT. And because they did such a great job, I hired them to install my air condition at my own home! PERFECT! Every single purchase was a dream: Staff are fantastic, installation professionals are just that - professional and courteous, owner Chris is a super cool guy who makes sure everything is A+. Tech Ceaser arrived on time and explained the problem. Provided temporary fix until repair part could be installed. Caesar Has done Air conditioning and furnace Maintenance for me before. Has always been very professional. I appreciate the fact that I usually receive the same technician, Cesar, every time for maintenance and repair.
We own a duplex in South Minneapolis and have had nothing but great experiences with Residential Heating and Air Conditioning over the years. They installed 2 furnaces for us (this included removing an old octopus beast of a furnace that had to be handled carefully because of asbestos) and more recently 2 AC units that are tied into those furnaces. Our home is OLD and whereas we thought these installations were going to be painful and expensive, these guys made it relatively easy and though they weren't dirt cheap, they were not any more expensive than other such services. They are professional, friendly, on-time and they know what they are doing! We love and recommend this business!
Replace broken AC and furnace. The guys were professional and courteous. They were respectful to the property. They also finished in a timely manner. Chris and his crew were great and I would recommend them any day of the week.

This company is wonderful to work with. I've been using them for the last 5 years when any issue comes up with my heat or ac. When my ac was leaking and my Freon discontinued, they hunted some down so that I could get a few more years out of it, which I did! I just replaced the system today and Javier was courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and fast! He made sure to review everything with me and what would happen next, electrician and inspections. All of which was taken care by Residential directly. My install price included all of this which is much easier than trying to coordinate those things yourself. I highly recommend this company: fair, honest and top notch customer service!
Considering the timing of the year during the hot summer, Residential came out and repaired my A/C in a very timely basis. I had called two other companies and they were going to be two to three weeks before they could get to me. The service manager Renee was very helpful getting this accomplished.
Unfortunately, the repair exposed the fact that the A/C unit was on its last leg. To help remedy the situation, they responded again within days and installed a new A/C unit. I felt they bent over backwards to resolve the overall problem. I feel now that I have the best A/C unit that my house has ever had and it doesn't have to work as hard as my previous units.

I have used this company since I moved back to MN in 2010 and I recommend them to everyone. They installed and supported my system in my house - and since my move to a townhouse they'll be doing an install after this repair.
They care. Renee is service scheduling is kind, remembers you and works miracles. This trip I had one of the owners doing my service work - I can see why I love this company!! They are priced fairly. Stand by their work. You could not do better than this team!
